Moon

Moon is a DS game I worked on for a bit. I wrote all the text that is seen in the terminals, giving the history and lore of a fictional(!?) moon base in which a caretaker of human livestock is slowly losing his mind. Only about 60% of the final terminal text is mine, due to some unfortunate confusing circumstances, but reviews seemed to like that part of the game alright! You can see that down below.

Though I didn’t have as much creative control on this project, it was a fun one. I wrote around 8,000 words of original text and lore in two days. Hardcore crunching. I’d love to revisit this one in some other capacity in the future, but we’ll see how that goes!

Right, so here’s some stuff people said about the part of the text I worked on.

“The main quest will have players talking constantly with their allies via a com-link, but more interesting than that were the data logs found throughout the worlds.” – IGN.com

“…the information you glean from terminals as you progress is a nice incentive…” – Gamespot.com
